TMC’s The Platform recently interviewed Allied Fiber’s CEO, Hunter Newby. In this interview Hunter Newby gave an overview of Allied Fiber along with an update of Allied Fiber’s current status since its latest press release announcing completion of funding for Phase I. Neal Axelrad, CEO and Founder of GCS conducted the interview.
The interview also highlighted the differentiators between Allied Fiber and companies that had constructed duct in the past. The largest distinction Hunter highlighted is that Allied Fiber is not a carrier; they are in the real estate business. Allied Fiber is building a multi-duct system different from the typical designs. This physical design along with the neutral model allow for Allied Fiber to overcome obstacles that were present in the past.
