Allied Fiber on the Lack of America’s Dark Fiber Infrastructure

Allied Fiber’s President and COO, Jason Cohen presented an overview of America’s Dark Fiber Market at the Dark Fibre Convention last week in London. Jason highlighted that the US is positioned as 15th in broadband penetration as compared to other countries.   Jason also further discussed how the US and Allied Fiber are addressing this need for further US broadband infrastructure.

The Dark Fibre Convention brought together attendees from around the globe for two days of high-level sessions and discussions on issues related to fiber optics. Network operators, equipment vendors, non-profit organizations and government agencies came together to share their viewpoints on broadband and fiber growth and development.
