Addressing an audience of industry specialists, engineers, and academics, Mr. Newby will participate in the GEC19 Panel: Connecting GENI Research to Industry, taking place on March 18 in the Scheller College lobby and auditorium on the Georgia Tech campus. Mr. Newby will discuss critical network needs on the horizon, and the key technological advances that will make those challenges surmountable. He will also be on hand to discuss Allied Fiber’s dark fiber and network-neutral colocation services and the key milestones reached by the company as it continues its nationwide dark fiber build.
“This is a very exciting time for Allied Fiber, with the Florida construction nearing completion,” states Mr. Newby. “The GENI conference is a great event for us to meet with peers and share our most recent experiences so that we can all better prepare for the future. I look forward to discussing how our system is changing dark fiber and network-neutral colocation infrastructure availability in the United States.”
Dedicated to exploring networks of the future, GENI is a project sponsored by the National Science Foundation. GENI provides collaborative and exploratory environments for academia and industry experts to network, research, and ultimately help to catalyze the groundbreaking discoveries and innovations that will aid in transforming emerging global networks.
