The reason is simple: in a world of constant mobility and interactivity, both smartphone and app markets have gone stratospheric. Today applications cover all aspects of life, helping users do everything from managing budgets, locating the perfect restaurant, viewing the latest weather forecasts, and updating their social media accounts. Recent statistics say there are 263,088 apps currently available for download, with games market being the most lucrative. According to official statistics for iPhone Apps this year, 15 of the best-selling apps are games, most notably the much lauded *Angry Birds,* in which players control the titular characters and exact revenge on greedy pigs that have stolen their eggs. Already having been downloaded close to 6.5 million times, the game has been so well received that its developers are now in talks with Hollywood Execs to make a movie around the theme of the game.
